I’m not a romantic girl, but I’m going to comment a very romantic and beautiful movie.
City of angel (Un ángel enamorado).
The movie is old, this is brought to the screen in 1998. By the director Brad Silberling and producer Wim Wenders.
The movie is about a doctor (Maggie) with problems at work and personal problems and an angel (sdbkj) who comes for patients that Maggie cannot save. He resigns the eternal life for Maggie, but he learns that the life isn´t easy when Maggie is knocked down and she dies.
Nicolas Cage and Meg Rian star.
A drama with a message: He resigns everything for love.
In my opinion, it´s a good movie.

this film is very romantic, but at the same time very sad. I thinkthan he did all for change at angel to human but the life played a joke whit him and the final she died and he was very sad.

Since the first time I saw this movie, I loved it.
ReplyDeleteSeth met Maggie when she was trying to save an ill man life. Seth became fascinated with Maggie, so, he decided to become visible to her, not very often. Although Maggie had a relationship with one of her colleagues at the hospital, Seth fell in love with her. Later, he met a “human” (Nathaniel) who used to be an angel. Nathaniel told him about human life, then, he decided to become human and run to Maggie. She broke up with her colleague. When she saw the human Seth, they wanted to be happy together.
But this movie doesn’t have a happy end because she dies. I like his final phrase “I would rather have had one breath of her hair, one kiss of her mouth, one touch of her hand, than eternity without it.” Ah, what a beautiful movie. If you are with the person you love, enjoy everymoment because it could be the last one.

ReplyDeletewell I have to say that this movie is one of my favorites because I love Nicholas Cage, and also because this movie is a perfect example of what love can do, even if you aren't human.
I mean the huge sacrifice that he does for the love of a woman is like wow!!, it makes me wish to be loved of that way!!!
But, this movie also brings a message, not everything is everlasting, well at least here on earth where life isn't easy and where you have to survive and make deals with dead every day, just like Maggie does.
I have to say it, I love this movie because of the cast, the production and the story, is a good one.

this movie is my favirite because trate about of an angel than still in love with a mortal, its a drama,passion and suspence movie.

Im like the actuation of Nicolas Cage because he make him the character also because this moments he boks very atractive and the woman will be Meg Ryan than for to be near of he. By other hand Meg Ryan isnt a sexy woman for NIcolas.
City of Angels is one of my favorite movies. I really like the interpretation of Nicolas Cage as Seth, when he becomes human and leave to be an angel and he discovers and enjoys each one of his "new" senses.
ReplyDeleteThe scene when Maggie fight until the end for the life of the man and seems to look the angel into his eyes is so touching .
This movie shows the love like something great able to make you change your life and renounce to all that you know. Really awsome!!!
