Usually when I see a movie it is horror, comedy or suspense, but I do love this movie because it's very entertaining, you're always alert about what will happen, even if it gets out of my favorite genres. Besides, , I was surprised with Jim Carrey´s performance because it was very different from what I expected. The actor gives life to Joel a lonely man who, one day decides, impulsively to start the journey by train to an unknown station. There, he meets Clementine (Kate Winslet), an impulsive woman. But everything changes completely, and the viewer slowly discovers that this is not the first time that Joel and Clementine meet. In fact, some time before, after a long relationship and many differences, Clementine had decided to break the engagement and go toDr. Howard Mierzwiak (Tom Wilkinson) to erase all her memories related to Joel. When he discovers that Clementine does not recognize him, Joel decides to undergo a brainwashing. In the process of erasing his memory, Joel regrets his decision and decides to escape from his memories of Clementine in order not to forget her.
